Pride in the Dales is completely volunteer-run, so we’re always looking to welcome new faces to our team. Whether you’d like to help on the day, support behind the scenes or bring your skills to the committee, your support would mean the world.

Secretary

Are you organised and great at keeping things running smoothly? Our Secretary helps with admin, takes meeting minutes and supports committee communications to keep everyone on track.

Safety & Security Lead

Want to help keep Pride safe and welcoming for all? This role oversees event safety, supports volunteers and works closely with security and marshals on the day.

Accessibility & Inclusion Lead

Passionate about making events inclusive for everyone? Help us make Pride accessible to all by considering mobility, sensory and communication needs – and being a point of contact for accessibility queries.

Social Media Coordinator

Are you a whizz on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok? Our Social Media Coordinator manages our posts and platforms, generates engagement and keeps our community connected.

Event Styling Lead

Are you creative and hands-on? Our Event Styling Lead takes charge of decor and displays, helping us transform spaces into vibrant, welcoming celebrations.

Content Coordinator

Got a creative flair for words, photos or video? Our Content Coordinator captures the stories of Pride, creating exciting content that showcases our events and celebrates our community.

Fundraising & Sponsorship Lead

This role helps raise vital funds through community fundraising and builds partnerships with local businesses to support Pride.

We’re always looking for local acts and performers, community groups, businesses and charities to take part in our events. You could get involved by:

  • donating

  • becoming a sponsor

  • lending your skills for workshops

  • providing services to the local LGBTQ+ community – whether that’s on Pride weekend, as a one-off or as part of a regular partnership.
